This includes a full consultation (30 minutes), treatment (4 hours) and a 4 week top up after the treatment (3 hours).

A patch test is required 48 hours before treatment.

What is Ombre?

How long does Ombre last?

Does Ombre hurt?

It doesn't hurt as such, it is more a sensation.  Sometimes it is the sound of the blade that people find worse! 

VERY IMPORTANT - PRE-Ombre treatment rules...

1. Do not pick, tweezer, wax, tint or have electrolysis one week before treatment

2. Do not use sunbeds, sit in direct sunlight two weeks before treatment

3. Do not have any type of facial or peel two weeks before treatment

4. Stop using any Retinol or Vitamin A one month before treatment

5. Do not exercise on the day of treatment

6. Do not have Botox three weeks before treatment

7. Do not take fish oil or vitamin E one week before treatment (these are natural blood thinners)

8. Do not drink alcohol 24-48 hours before your treatment

9. You will need to be off Accutane (acne medication) for 12 months prior to treatment

10. Do not take Aspirin, Coumadin or Ibuprofen 24-48 hours before your treatment

On the day of treatment..... Do not drink coffee!

VERY IMPORTANT - TWO WEEK POST Ombre treatment rules...

1. After the treatment gently wash your eyebrow area with cool, boiled water using clean cotton pads to remove any blood/lymphatic fluids from the treated area

2. Keep the area completely dry - no water whatsoever on the treated area

3. No sweating/exercise

4. Absolutely nothing should be applied to the treated area i.e. no water, no makeup, no lotions, no pencils

5. Avoid scrubbing the treated area at least one month post treatment

6. Avoid sleeping directly on your face

7. On day 3/4 if you feel they are really dry then apply a very small amount of Bepanthem (nappy rash cream).  Take care not to over moisturise the treated area

8. Avoid facials, Botox or peels for 4 weeks

Contraindications to Ombre

Treatment CANNOT be performed if:

1. You are under 18

2. You have diabetes

3. You are pregnant or breastfeeding

4. You have had epilepsy within the last 2 years

5. You have taken Roacutane within the last 12 months

6. You have taken blood thinners

7. You have Hepititis A, B C, D or HIV

8. You have skin damage

9. You have diseases/disorders of the skin

10. You are undergoing Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy (consult your Doctor)
